Value Every LIfe is the first film in the Little Stars series that seeks to give voice to the need for children’s palliative care. It aims to ensure that every child living with life-limiting illness has access to palliative care, thereby relieving their suffering and that of their families.
“We have the knowledge, the skills, the drugs, the multi-professional team – there is no reason for the children with life-threatening conditions to die in pain and suffering…if we can’t care for these children who are the most vulnerable, then we have lost some of our spirit and our humanity.” said Joan Marston, Chief Executive of International Children’s Palliative Care Network.
